Right now, the Texas Department of State Health Services confirms 10 cases of West Nile in East Texas, but more potential cases are being investigated. We'll show you the East Texas counties with confirmed cases.

Plus, An overnight wreck involving an 18-wheeler that struck a traffic control box and pole has traffic lights out at a major Tyler intersection this morning. We'll have the details in traffic with Kerri Compton, coming up just after 6 am.

A line of thunderstorms moved through the area this morning providing up to and inch of rain and lots of lightning as they moved through.  This afternoon we will see partly cloudy skies with scattered showers and storms developing again.  Highs will reach the middle 90s.  More rain in store for the weekend.  Details are coming up on Good Morning East Texas.
