Kids Get Slimed In Summer Camp

Are your kids already bored this summer? Why not let them learn how to make slime, rockets, or even let them make their own costumes and preform in a play. Those are all unique camps offered in East Texas.

It's not your typical summer camp. "Right now we're cutting the axle for my rat trap car," says camper Bradley Baker.

At Letourneau University in Longview, kids are making a race car out of a mouse trap. Kids are loving it.

"I like this camp because you're going to make very, very weird stuff here like mousetrap cars," says Kyle Engelke.

Once the holes have been drilled, and the axles are in place, the race begins.

Then it's on to Slime Ka Boom. Kids learn how to make real slime.

You think the kids need a little exercise? There's also soccer and basketball camps to choose from.

"I'm at Camp Sport Time and we're playing dodge ball right now," says Collin Roach.

In Camp Sport Time there are all kinds of activities for the kids to play including tennis and swimming.

For the kids it's all about fun. "I get to meet new friends and all the things we do are so fun," says Caroline Brumbelo.

It's not too late to register for LeTourneau University's summer camps. For more information on other camps offered you can call 903-233-3248.
