Longview Police tell us that on Sunday at 11:46 p.m., officers responded to a call in the 1100 block of Lorin Lane.
When the officers arrived at the scene, they found five victims who had allegedly been run over by an SUV in a carport.
According to the victims, a 24-year-old woman, LaKeisha Nicole Brown, had been arguing with her boyfriend, who was participating in a dominoes game on the carport. After the argument, Ms. Brown got into her Suburban and drove it into the carport where the five people were sitting at a table. Brown's vehicle struck all five people, including her boyfriend. She then stuck a mailbox, knocking it into the street, and then fled the scene.
When police arrived, Brown was not present, but they were able to locate her later in the 900 block of South Fifteenth Street in Longview. She was arrested on four charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly weapon and one charge of Aggravated Assault Family Violence. She was transported to the Gregg County Jail without incident.
