HUMBLE, TEXAS (KLTV) - 13-year old Austin Jones has brought home a bronze medal from the AAU Junior Olympics in Humble.

We first met Austin a few weeks ago, when we profiled him and his father, Brad, after they had built a pole-vaulting pit in their back yard in Arp.

Their hard work paid off, as Austin, competing in the 14-year old division, placed 3rd.

There were 21 vaulters in the division, coming from all over the United States.
