Davis Cleveland, star of the Disney television series "Shake it Up", saw the video, called Maci and invited her to California to visit his TV set. "Spy Kids" star Mason Cook, also became a friend and before long they were sponsoring Maci in fundraisers in California. Davis has also been to Tyler to help raise money for CF research. Together they have helped raise over a hundred thousand dollars to fight this fatal genetic disease.
