Person of interest sought after car slams into pole, driver flees

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

A person of interest is being sought by Longview Police after driving their car into a power pole near the intersection of West Hawkins Parkway and Fairway Oaks Lane in Longview.

Officials say the person drove their car into the power pole, then drove off from the scene.

The name of the person of interest has not yet been released. The accident did cause a temporary power outage to some in the area.
