Robert E. Lee High School's Senior Class Graduates

For hundreds of high school students in Tyler, the moment they waited on for four years, finally arrived today.
More than 500 Robert E. Lee graduates crossed the stage to receive their diplomas Friday morning at The Oil Palace.
Lee's graduating class was awared more than $2.9 million dollars in scholarships. Among the scholarship recipients was Valedictorian Haley Bolin, a National Merit Finalist.
Many of the students couldn't hide their excitement
"I'm really excited it's a big time for all of us," said Lee graduate Meredith Parker. "I'm just glad that we can have such a prestigous ceremony with all these wonderful faculty here."
"I'm just happy that I'm graduating," said Diondre Kemp. "Four years with everyone, it's awesome. Just to be here right here, right now, it's just awesome."
