As temperatures keep climbing, people are getting ready to hit the pool. And lifeguards are getting ready for them as well. To prepare for their busy season, lifeguards for tyler's public pools are attending special training sessions. Today, some working for Tylers Woldert and Fun Forest Pools brushed up on their spinal cord injury rescues, which are the most critical for the victim. Lifeguards say they rely on these sessions to prepare them for those kind of life-saving rescues. Swim season opens this Saturday. You can visit both the Fun Forest or Woldert Pool located in Tyler for just a quarter this summer.
