TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

An accident slowed traffic in North Tyler, Monday evening.

The accident, which DPS says occurred near the intersection of North Loop 323 and N Broadway, has caused a FedEx 18-wheeler to overturn.

DPS said that the driver of the FedEx truck was driving on the Loop and, due to road conditions and unsafe speed, lost control of his truck. He hit a guardrail and the truck flipped. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

According to a FedEx spokesperson, the truck was leaving the city of Tyler en route to Little Rock, Arkansas.

He also said that a FedEx freight team is at the accident site and will assess the packages and move them to an alternate location, and will inspect to find out which packages are salvageable. They will then notify customers of their packages' status.

EMS workers on the scene confirmed that there were no injuries. The driver was not issued a citation, according to DPS.
