ETMC won a bronze "Telly" award, second place, for the cardiac campaign featuring Tyler Assistant Fire Chief David Schlottach. The Telly awards received more than 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five countries.

ETMC also won two national Aster Awards for excellence in medical advertising/marketing. Scott Berkley received a Gold Aster for a photo illustration for ETMC EMS and a Silver Aster for a photo taken during a kidney transplant surgery.
