JT Student Newspaper Controversy Ends

Some students at John Tyler High are now being allowed to print the last issue of their school newspaper.

Last week, Principal Dr. Aubrey Todd prohibited the students from publishing articles about his reassignment. But after a discussion between the students' teacher, Quantalane Henry, and the director of secondary education, Dr. Karen Raney, the students were granted permission to go to press.

Today, they put the finishing touches on the Lion's Tale, so they can send it off tomorrow. Because of the delay, the paper will not be available until graduation this Friday.
