Former Principal Faces New Charges

A former east Texas principal, already jailed for allegedly molesting children in Rusk county, now faces new charges in Gregg county. This week 42 year old Russell Hirner was indicted on 15 counts of aggravated sexual assault against a Longview victim.

Hirner worked as a principal at Longview Baptist Temple. The victim in the Longview case says Hirner molested her over a two year period back in 1994. He remains in the Rusk County jail on $140,000 bond.
