Longview hospital expanding

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

A major hospital expansion broke ground in East Texas on Thursday.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held at Longview Regional Medical Center for a new multi-million dollar expansion.

Included will be a new 230 bed hospital, complete with private rooms and a new third and fourth floor facilities.

The expansion is expected to be completed in 18 months.
