E. Texas woman killed, 6 injured in rollover wreck

NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Blood tests have been ordered on an East Texas mother, killed in a weekend wreck.

A Nacogdoches woman died and six were injured in a rollover accident Sunday night in Nacogdoches County.

Allison Denise Barnhill, 34, died at 7:05 p.m. at the scene, located on FM 1087, two-tenths of a mile west of County Road 173.

Triston Channell, 7, of Nacogdoches, is listed in critical condition with internal injuries at a Shreveport hospital.

Four others, Lucas Jarrod Barnhill, 31, Easton Barnhill, 2, Trenton Channell, 9, Amber Smith, 13, and Hunter Smith, 16, all of Nacogdoches, are listed in good condition at a Nacogdoches hospital.

According to the DPS report, Allison Barnhill was driving a 2001 GMC Yukon eastbound on FM 1087 at 6:10 p.m. when she lost control and overturned.

All seven were wearing seatbelts.
