Two suspects are in custody in connection with a shooting in mid-May that killed one person and injured three in Longview.

Longview Police officers, accompanied by SWAT, served a capital murder arrest warrant and search warrant in the 100 block of Vesta Drive on Friday afternoon.

An investigation led authorities to Torry Jamal Reed, 17, of Longview.

Reed is accused of fatally shooting De'Aundreay Lamanze Rossum, a 23-year-old Kilgore man, on May 15. He's charged with capital murder.

When police arrived at the scene in the 2900 block of Signal Hill Drive that Tuesday night, four victims suffering gunshot wounds were found. Rossum was found fatally shot inside of a vehicle; the other three victims survived the incident.

A 16-year-old suspect was also taken into custody on Friday, on a directive to apprehend for capital murder in connection with the fatal shooting.

Reed was taken to the Gregg County jail, while the juvenile was taken to the Gregg County Juvenile Detention Center.

Reed was arrested in late January for allegedly punching a Gregg County Sheriff's Deputy. He was booked into the Gregg County Jail January 26, charged with assault on a public servant.
