TRINITY, TX (KTRE) - For the third time in 2012, Trinity Police have had to deal with meth being concealed vaginally after arresting a pair last week.

According to Chief Steven Jones, police arrested Karen Hale, 22, and Charles Alexander, 30, on Robb Street near FM 1617.

Jones said both were charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. While Jones was taking them back to the jail, he told Hale that she would be searched for additional drugs. Hale then told her she had concealed meth in her vagina.

Jones said when he got back to the police department, he reviewed the video from the arrest and could see that Hale had taken the meth out of her bra and pushed it into her vagina.

Police added a charge of felony delivery of a controlled substance on Hale. Jones said she also had two air-conditioning window units in the trunk of her vehicle and police determined she had stolen them from a 10th Street residence in which she was renting and had moved out. Additional theft charges are pending.

Jones arrested the pair on a traffic stop after citizens called and reported they were engaging in drug activity.
