Cornhole Smackdown

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Ryan and Coleman were challenged to a game of cornhole by two members of the Texas Cornhole League.  It's like washers and horse shoes. You get two boards 27 feet apart, trying to throw a six inch bag into a six inch hole.

The 7 Sports guys took on Josh Ball and his partner Brandi.  The first team to score 21 points first wins.  The teams played best 2 out of 3.

Ryan and Coleman struggled to score.  The only way your team can post points, is if you win the board.  So even if they hit a good shot, it was always canceled out by a better shot by Josh or Brandi.

The 7 Sports guys lost game one 21 to 0.  Game two wasn't much better, but at least they scored, losing 21 to 3.

If you're interested in the Texas Cornhole League, call Josh Ball at 903-677-2464.

Stephen f. Austin head football coach Clint Conque paid a visit to the Rose City this afternoon. It's perfect timing to pump up the program, considering the Jacks are coming off a dramatic last second win over Incarnate Word. Put on by the alumni association, Conque was the featured speaker at a Lumberjack networking event. Coach Conque got to brag a little about SFA's first victory of the year. Not to mention that despite a rough non-conference, the Jacks are 1-0 in South...More >>
