It's a day of beauty for 17 year old Krystin as she gets a new haircut! Krystin is a sweet and bubbly child who doesn't meet a stranger. As for school, Krystin enjoys all her classes.
"I just love school period. I love everything about school," Krystin said.
This sophomore's goal is to be number 1 in her class and she's really close to her goal. At this time Krystin is making all A's and is ranked #4 in her class. And yes, Krystin is already thinking about her future.
"I want to go to Texas A&M-College Station, and I want to be a doctor and go into the missionary field," Krystin said.
When she's not studying, Krystin likes to play sports.
"Basketball is my favorite sport and I run track too," Krystin said.
Krystin has a strong desire to be adopted before her 18th birthday and prays daily that this will happen. She believes this is possible as all things are possible through Christ. Krystin has a strong Christian belief and this is very important to her, and she hopes to find a family that has one as well.
"I really like to go to church. It's just my favorite thing to do. Especially, when you have really good friends like when it's a big church with a big youth group. I enjoy it," Krystin said.
Krystin also enjoys reading, talking on the phone, going out to eat and going to the movies. Her favorite movie is Twilight and her favorite books are the Hunger Games. When it comes to music she enjoys listening to any type of Christian music.
Krystin has two younger brothers who have been adopted. She continues to maintain contact with them, and it is important to her that she continues this contact once she finds her forever family. As for her three wishes, she'd love to have a new wardrobe and help send her brother to college.
And for her third wish, "right now I'm sponsoring a child in Africa and her name is Flora and I'd really like to see her. That would be good. That would be fun," Krystin said.
With time running out, Krystin hopes she will find a family before her 18th birthday, a family that will show her the Gift of Love.
