Strong earthquake off Indonesia coast, tsunami watch issued

A tsunami watch was issued for countries across the Indian Ocean after a massive earthquake hit waters off Indonesia. We will have the details.

A weak cold front will be sliding through the area today.  Along this front we could see a few isolated thunderstorms develop this afternoon.  Like yesterday they will be few and far between.  Highs this afternoon will range from the middle 70s in our northeastern counties to the middle 80s in our southwestern counties.  Tonight will be partly cloudy and pleasant.  Low temperatures will drop into the upper 50s and lower 60s.  For your Thursday we will see partly cloudy skies and mild conditions.  Highs will reach the upper 70s to lower 80s.  We'll take a look at your weekend coming up on Good Morning East Texas.
