Overnight armed robbery at Tyler gas station

Coming up on Good Morning East Texas...

Tyler police are looking for a suspect who robbed a Tyler convenience store at gunpoint last night.  Watch surveillance video of the robbery in progress. Good Morning East Texas' Lauren Callahan will join us live from the scene of the robbery with the latest details.

And, we will have an update about a new ordinance banning panhandlers in the city of Lufkin that we told you about last week.

Plus, on KLTV.com right now...A Tyler taxi cab company is offering free cab rides on prom night if teenagers find themselves drinking, despite the fact that they're underage. What do you think about this? Read the story here.

Storm Tracker 7 Meteorologist Grant Dade tells us...

It will be another warm and humid afternoon as we see high temperatures in the lower 80s across East Texas.  There will be a few isolated showers and thunderstorms that develop later this afternoon as well.  There is a slight chance a storm or two could become rather strong with a few gusty winds and small hail but the overall threat of severe weather today appears rather low.  Tonight will be mild again as we see lows only dropping down into the lower 60s.  Wednesday we will see a cold front move across the area bringing a slight chance of thundershowers.  Temperatures tomorrow afternoon will range from the lower 70s northeast to lower middle 80s southwest.  Your weekend forecast is coming up on Good Morning East Texas. On Monday the Associated Press released its top 25 preseason poll for college football. And for the third straight year, Texas A&M didn't make the cut. Starting fast though and moving their way up the polls in recent seasons hasn't been the problem. In fact, the Aggies, who have over a dozen East Texans on the roster, were number four in the initial playoff rankings last year.
