It's Ring Bling! Chapel Hill gets title rings

CHAPEL HILL, TEXAS (KLTV) - Four months after they won the 3A Division I Championship, the Chapel Hill Bulldogs received their championship rings.

"I've just got two words. Bout time," said senior Avery Henderson, "I've waited four months for this ring and I'm glad I got it."

Chapel Hill was the wire-to-wire #1 team in class 3A, beating Alvarado 20-19 in the title game.

It came one year after the Bulldogs lost to Henderson in 2010 title game.

"Last year we thought we'd get it, but came up short," said senior Deaveron Dean, "This year being seniors it means a lot."

High school principal Greg Wright put it best at the ceremony saying, "5, 10, 20 years from now, you will realize what this ring really means and when that happens, look back and realize how great this year was."
