Price of gas leaving drivers in pain

The price of gasoline at a Tyler gas station on the corner of Old Jacksonville Highway and Grande shows the trend.

The price for a gallon of regular unleaded was $3.07 in December. In January it was $3.21. By February it climbed to $3.42 and by March it was $3.64.

On Wednesday, the price had climbed to $3.85.

Nick McDonough filled up his truck for $85.92, a price tag that didn't feel too good.

"It makes me feel terrible," said McDonough.

Tira Freeman told us that she has had to modify her schedule due to the prices; a situation she shares with others.

"Whether they have money or not, people are very conscious about what they are buying at this pump," said Freeman.
