And as always, Grant Dade is working on keeping you up to date on the latest weather information. He tells us...

The large area of thunderstorms well to our south yesterday has caused an area of low pressure to develop in the mid levels of the atmosphere.  This area of low pressure will drift to our south throughout the day bringing a chance of showers and thunderstorms to the area, mainly south of I-20.  Highs this afternoon will be held down just a bit thanks to the cloud cover but will still be above normal, in the upper 70s.  Tonight we will see partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures.  Lows by Friday morning will be in the lower 60s.  Friday afternoon we will see a stray thundershower or two other wise just partly cloudy and warm.  Highs will be back into the lower 80s.  Your weekend forecast is coming up on Good Morning East Texas.
