HOUSTON COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - An intoxicated Alto woman was arrested Wednesday night after she wrecked with a four-year-old child in the vehicle, according to DPS.
DPS spokesman David Hendry said Laura Allison Doss, 28, was driving on State Highway 7 East in Houston County when she hydroplaned and hit a tree.
A trooper arrived at the scene and saw prescription pills in the vehicle and conducted a sobriety test with Doss, which she failed, Hendry said.
The trooper arrested Doss on a charge of DWI with a child passenger, because she had a four-year-old in the vehicle.
