Trinity Valley advances to national semifinals

SALINA, KS (KLTV) -

The No. 1 ranked Trinity Valley Lady Cardinals moved to 34-and-0 Thursday night, beating Shelton State (AL) 66 to 59.  TVCC advances to the JUCO Division One National Tournament semifinals tomorrow night.

ShaKayla Caples led the Lady Cardinals with 26 points in 28 minutes.  Keuna Flax added ten points and ten rebounds.

The Lady Cardinals will play Friday night at 8 p.m. against the winner of Georgia Perimeter and Pensacola.  TVCC is two wins from the school's sixth national championship.
