LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

Longview Police have arrested a man accused of robbing another man at gunpoint.

According to official documents, Joshua Pippen, 22, of Longview, borrowed $50 from the victim, promising to pay the loan back as soon as possible.

Several weeks after Pippen took the money from the victim, he showed up at the victim's house in the 1,800 block of Judson Road, stating he was there to repay the loan, officials say.

When the victim opened the door, authorities say Pippen pointed a firearm in the victim's face and proceeded to demand money.

The victim advised Pippen and his cohort, later identified as a man named whose first name is Joseph, that there was $14 on the coffee table inside the residence, authorities say.

Pippen and Joseph took the cash off the coffee table, along with a Smith & Wesson .40 caliber pistol that was lying underneath the coffee table, according to documents.

Officials say Pippen then struck the victim in the face and stated he was coming back for his television.

Pippen was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery with a $25,000 bond. He is currently held in the Gregg County Jail on this and several other charges out of Smith County.
