Filthy living conditions prompt boy to call police on parents

Coming up on Good Morning East Texas...

A teenage boy was so upset with his living conditions, that he called the police on his parents. We will tell you about the conditions that he says he was living in.

Plus, yesterday was a wild ride with the heavy rain and flooding around East Texas. Check out our slideshow, "Weather brings downed trees, flooding, fires and wrecks."

On right now, a dam in Van Zandt County failed during yesterday's rain, forcing some families out of their homes temporarily. Click here to read more.

And, Good Morning East Texas Meteorologist Grant Dade fills us in on how our weather will play out today...

We are still dealing with a slow moving low pressure system that will keep clouds and light rain with us today.  Highs this afternoon will struggle to reach the middle 60s in most areas with our western counties reaching the upper 60s.  There is a chance a few thunderstorms will develop this afternoon to our west and spread across East Texas late today.  Our rain chances will begin to taper off tomorrow as the low pressure finally lifts out of the area late in the day.  We will still see as few scattered showers however with highs in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees.  See how your weekend is shaping up on Good Morning East Texas...and check out the 7 day forecast here.
