Storm Tracker 7 Meteorologist Grant Dade says a busy weather pattern is developing for the next few days...

A strong storm system promises to bring heavy rain and the threat of severe weather across East Texas later today.  Most of the area is under a moderate risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.  Highs today will reach the upper 70s to near 80 degrees with strong southeasterly winds.  Winds on average will range between 15 to 25 miles per hour with gusts over 30 miles per hour at times.  Because of this much of East Texas is under a lake wind advisory.   Heavy rain and wide spread storms are likely tonight with low temperatures only dropping into the 60s.  For your Tuesday we will continue to see a chance of strong to severe storms with a wide range of afternoon temperatures.  By tomorrow afternoon temperatures will drop to around 60 in our western counties and warm to the middle 70s in our southeastern counties.  Stay with KLTV and throughout the next few days for the latest information.
