Security needed....on the detergent aisle?

Here's what we're working on for you this afternoon in the KLTV newsroom:

First, there's a surprising crime wave that is getting national attention: a rash of thefts of laundry detergent. Thousands of dollars worth! KLTV's Bethany Moore has the strange details for you at 5.

We also looked into an over-the-counter test developed by two Plano moms who say it can quite accurately reveal the sex of your unborn baby; even earlier than ultrasound tests can. Our Jena Johnson will give you those details tonight!

And we'll tell you about a large jet that rolled right off a taxiway of a US airport that most of us have stopped in over the years; check that out at five.

Art lovers around the world woke up this morning to the shocking news that a new Da Vinci painting may have been discovered; our Michael Thompson will fill you in on that tonight at 5.

At 6 we'll tell you that a multi-state manhunt which is now over, and a suspected kidnapper is behind bars. It happened in Lufkin this afternoon, and KLTV's Lane Luckie will tell us just how she was caught.

There was also a traffic stop Monday in Gregg County that led to the arrest of two men who were found to be in possession of a large sum of money and drugs. A Gregg County Sheriff Deputy made the stop, and then DEA agents were brought in to assist. We'll have that for you at 6, and you can see their mugshots and read the story right here on KLTV.com.

Also, head on over to our Facebook page to check out three great slideshows: Pain at the Pump Pricecheck, World's Most Beautiful Beach Destinations, and CrimeStoppers Mugshot Rouind-up. They're all found on our slideshows page on KLTV.com, as well.

We'll see you soon!
