Should TX voters be required to show valid ID before voting?

We hope your week has gotten off to a great start!

Here's some of what we have for you today on KLTV and KLTV.com:

The White House is blocking a new law that would require Texas voters to have a valid ID before casting their ballot. Officials say the decision was made because the law could stop thousands of Hispanic voters who may not have a valid ID. KLTV's Annette Falconer met with people from both sides of the aisle; join us for that tonight at 5.

A school bus crash in Indianapolis this morning killed at least two people. The school bus was just two miles away from its destination when it crashed into a support pillar for a bridge. We will tell you the full story and show you the video tonight at 5.

According to FEMA, the tornado damage in Southern Illinois is not bad enough to qualify for federal disaster aid. They have turned down the state's request for federal money to help victims. At 5, we'll tell you more about this development in the tragic story of the tornadoes that hit that area in February.

And as you may have read on KLTV.com earlier today, the Wood Co. fire marshal has determined the cause of last night's blaze that destroyed Pearce Petroleum Products in Mineola. Several area fire departments responded to help Mineola FD battle the fire, bringing it under control before even more damage could be done. The story and slideshow are on KLTV.com; join our Melanie Torre at 6 as she brings us the latest update from the scene.

And if you ever stay up too late and then try to drive while battling fatigue, this story may interest (or scare) you; a man was having that problem this morning as he drove his truck in ETX, and ended up in a dangerous situation. Head over to our website for the full story with picture, and we'll have the story for you at 6.

Join us tonight at 5, 6, and 10 for the best news in ETX, and remember that if you're not near a television, you can join us live online at KLTV.com.  Just click on the LIVE banner that will appear at the top of the page at newstime.

We'll see you then!
