OAKLAND, CA (KLTV) - Former Pine Tree standout Chris Johnson has been released by the Oakland Raiders.
Johnson, 32, was entering the final year of his contract and was scheduled to earn $3.5 million in base salary, which also represents his salary cap savings.
Johnson only played in 4 games this season with Oakland, recording 14 tackles along the way.
Born in Gladewater, Johnson had played in 55 games with the Raiders since 2007 compiling 146 tackles and 8 interceptions.
