Crew member clash delays DFW flight

DALLAS (AP) - An American Airlines plane returned to the gate and was met by police officers after an incident involving crew members.

The plane was about to take off from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport on Friday morning when it returned to the gate.

Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Tony Molinaro says the pilot asked for police to meet the plane at the gate. He says Dallas police told FAA that there was an altercation on the plane.

American Airlines spokesman Ed Martelle says the incident involved some of the airline's crew, and two flight attendants were taken to a hospital for treatment. He declined further comment.
