Region XIV Tournament returning to TJC

TYLER, TEXAS (KLTV) - The Region XIV junior college basketball tournament is coming to Tyler Junior College starting on Wednesday, March 7th and running through Sunday.

12 mens teams and 8 womens teams will vie for the championship and a spot in the NJCAA National tournament.

Here is a schedule of games for the upcoming week:

Wednesday (Mens 1st Round)

Lee vs Jacksonville (1:00)
Blinn vs Coastal Bend (3:00)
Tyler JC vs Kilgore (6:00)
Navarro vs Lon Morris (8:00)

Thursday (Womens Quarterfinals)

TVCC vs Panola (1:00)
Lon Morris vs Kilgore (3:00)
Tyler JC vs Angelina (6:00)
Paris vs Blinn (8:00)

Friday (Mens Quarterfinals)

Paris vs Lee/Jacksonville (1:00)
TVCC vs Blinn/Coastal Bend (3:00)
Lamar St. vs TJC/Kilgore (6:00)
San Jac vs Navarro/Lon Morris (8:00)

Saturday (Mens/Womens Semi-Finals)

Womens Semi-Final #1 (1:00)

Sunday (Mens/Womens Finals)

    The John Tyler Lions always seem to look sharp in their uniforms. But thanks to East Texas lawyer Keith Miller, the Lions will look better and play safer. Helmets that advertise lowering the impact of hits, and possibly reduce the amount of concussions, come with a hefty price-tag.
