Man arrested for biting off friend's nose, and you won't believe why

Good afternoon, East Texas! What a beautiful day it is.

Here's what we've been working on for you on this beautiful day:

Today we'll tell you about a Saturday incident that's hard to imagine: A Trinity man had part of his nose bitten off during an argument Saturday morning at a Trinity residence. We'll tell you more about that at 5, and you can click here to check it out on our website to see his mugshot and read more, as well. He had a reason he bit off the nose. Join us or visit the site for his "reason."

Also, jury selection is underway in a wrongful death lawsuit brought by parents of two VA Tech students killed in a shooting rampage on campus five years ago. We'll have more on that for you at 5.

In spite of how we may feel sometimes, there are still great people in the world! A good Samaritan risked his own life to save a drowning man yesterday, and it was actually caught on tape. You won't want to miss that; only at 5 on KLTV.

Sheena Bradford, the woman who was hospitalized for nearly three weeks after telling police she had a breast augmentation procedure in the back room of Queen Diva's Salon, has been released from the hospital, according to persons close to her. We'll give you that update at 6, and you can read the whole unimaginable story by clicking here, which will take you to for all the details.

A woman is now facing DWI and drug charges after a wreck at the Kilgore Walmart. Her identity has been released, as we told you earlier on and GMET. We'll show you the images on-air at 6. Good reminder not to drink and drive, friends.

A major development in the investigation of an East Texas store clerk's murder, as one suspect is identified through DNA.

On January 10th of last year, 25-year-old Renee Garrett was shot and killed in a robbery of an adult video store in Kilgore. Although they're not saying who it is, Kilgore police say they have identified at least one suspect in the murder of Garrett. We'll tell you more at 6, and you can see pictures and read the history of this case by clicking here.

And if you're trying to sell your car, you can go to our community pages to get tips for finding the right buyer and making the best deal. It's more than just slapping an ad on Craig's list, y'all.

Please join us at 5, 6, and 10 tonight, and remember that we're livestreaming our newscasts on for those of you who are out of the area or are not near a television.

We'll see you soon!
