UPDATE: Crews extinguish brush fire in Smith County

SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

Lindale fire crews responded to a bush fire off of County Road 492 Saturday afternoon. The fire was contained quickly and no homes were threatened or damaged.

Officials say the fire burned around 3 acres.

Lindale fire crews responded with two brush trucks and one engine.
