Man in custody after scare at Tyler business

A man is in custody after threatening to kill everyone at a Tyler business.

Twenty-eight year old Grover Dial is charged with making a terroristic threat and resisting arrest at Bloch Metals, which is located on Industrial Avenue in northeast Tyler.

According to Bruce Bloch, president of Bloch Metals, this morning Dial became very angry then left the premises only to return a short time later. When he returned he started yelling and cursing, saying he was going to kill everyone at the business.

Mr. Bloch says the man did not have a gun. The people at Bloch Metals called Smith County authorities, who handled the situation.

Mr. Bloch says Smith County Authorities tell him they took the suspect into custody on Hwy 271 a short time later.

No one was hurt and the business remains open.
