Study: Southerners are sleepiest in U.S.

(CNN) - New research shows where you live may have something to do with your sleep.

The study looked at regions of the United States and their inhabitants' sleeping patterns.

Researchers called more than 150,000 adults to ask them questions about how they snooze.

They found people living in the south report the most sleep disturbances and daytime fatigue.

Researchers say the reasons may be linked to regional differences in mental health, race and ethnicity, and access to medical care.
