Edgewood upsets Winnsboro to advance to state

NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS (KLTV) - The Edgewood girls basketball team beat Winnsboro today 62-52 in the regional finals to advance to the 2A State Tournament in Austin.

Susan Ageson scored 34 points for Edgewood, who beat Winnsboro twice this year.

Edgewood improves to 31-6 on the year, while Winnsboro falls to 29-9 with the loss.

We had a crew at the game and will have more on Edgewood's win tonight at 6 & 10.
