Josh Hamilton claims he doesn't owe the Rangers

We've heard plenty about Yu Darvish the last few days, but Friday was all about Josh Hamilton.  The Rangers all star told reporters he loves Texas, his teammates and Rangers fans.  However, the free agent to be says he doesn't owe the Rangers anything.

I'm a little surprised for Hamilton to say he doesn't owe the Rangers anything.  The team stood behind him no matter what.  Despite alcohol and drug addiction, the team gave him another chance.  To Hamilton's credit, he turned his life and career around.  But he someone had to give them the chance.  The Rangers also give him an accountability partner.  Hamilton may not owe the Rangers anything, but I know for a fact the Rangers don't owe Josh Hamilton a thing.

The Neches girls basketball team has advance to the regional finals.  Winnsboro and Martin's Mill are trying to join them right now.  We'll have highlights from the girls playoffs on KLTV News at Ten.

There are over twenty boys playoff games tonight.  Most East Texas teams have a bit of drive.  For the complete schedule click here.

Have a great weekend,

Ryan Peterson
