Chick-fil-A donates more than 6,000 servings of soup

Tyler drivers enjoyed the sights of cows loading a lot of boxes into a truck.

The cows were working to feed East Texas.  Today, the Chick-fil-A on South Broadway donated more than 6,000 servings of soup to the Salvation Army.

The franchise owner says this is just one way his restaurant can give back to those East Texans in need.

But he feels it's the customers who made this possible.

"For every bowl or cup of soup they buy, we match it and give it to the Salvation Army. And, this year we set a record...over 6,000 plus servings," said Ed King, owner of two Tyler-Area Chick-fil-As.
