LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Six East Texans have been named in a 61-count federal meth indictment released Feb. 14.

The indictment alleges that Terry Lynn Boozer, 55, of Nacogdoches, used locations around Nacogdoches County to manufacture meth, using pseudeophedrine purchased from him and his co-defendants.

The co-defendants are Janice Gail Williams, 47, of Nacogdoches; Autumn Grace Broadway, 27, of Nacogdoches; Douglas Edward Vance, 43, of Nacogdoches; Linda Richelle Pugh, 41, of Broaddus; Mattie Alabama Emerson, 23, of Garrison.

The indictment states the six bought pseudeophedrine at pharmacies at Walmart, Walgreen's, Kroger's and CVS in Kilgore, Galveston, Arlington, Tyler, Lufkin, Longview, Jacksonville, Marshall, Pflugerville, Center, Madisonville and Henderson.

Boozer was arrested on Feb. 6 after he was accused of stealing a private airplane from a hangar at the Athens airport.

On Monday the Associated Press released its top 25 preseason poll for college football. And for the third straight year, Texas A&M didn't make the cut. Starting fast though and moving their way up the polls in recent seasons hasn't been the problem. In fact, the Aggies, who have over a dozen East Texans on the roster, were number four in the initial playoff rankings last year.
