KILGORE, TX (KLTV) -

A traffic stop turned into a drug bust in Kilgore late Friday night.

Just before 3 a.m., Kilgore Police officers pulled over Kadeem Ray, 21, Jedarious Lowery, 19, and Jerry Collins, 22, all of Dallas.

A search of the vehicle turned up two loaded handguns, several bags of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and more than $3,000 in cash.

But that wasn't all! A cavity search during processing and booking into the Kilgore City Jail revealed that Ray had 41 packets of heroin concealed inside his body.

Ray was taken to Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview, where the drugs were removed.

Ray, Collins and Lowery were all charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of marijuana.

Additionally, Ray was charged with delivery of a controlled substance and tampering with evidence. Collins was also charged with theft of a firearm.
