Gearing up for some weekend fun? Here's an idea...

Hope your Wednesday afternoon is going well!

Here's a glance at what we're working on in the KLTV newsroom today:

Retail giant Walmart is rolling out a new "healthy" seal. The icon will appear on more healthful foods and make it easier for customers to make better food choices.  Details on the program and launch date at 5pm.

More women's health news today: The Catholic church is threatening to sue the federal government. The issue is a new plan that goes into effect in August to require employer health insurance plans to cover birth control.  Churches are exempt from the policy, but religious-run hospitals and schools are not. More on that at 5, including what the White House says about the policy.

For the second time in a month, cyber-crimes officers have caught a suspected child predator. KLTV's Bob Hallmark has more on the two-month sting operation that put a Longview man behind bars. Bob will share that story with us at 6.

Fans of KLTV on Facebook pointed us in the direction of a narcotics raid in the Turnertown area of ETX last night.  Rusk County Sheriff's deputies found a large amount of the drug K-2 in a back room in a convenience store, valued at about $13,000. We'll have that story for you at 6, and we hope that if you haven't done so, you'll join us on Facebook, too. You can really be a part of the news there!

If you're looking for something entertaining to do this weekend, you might want to check out this story about the Art Walk in the Edom & Ben Wheeler areas this weekend. There will be live music, food samplings, art galleries to explore, guest artists sharing ideas on enhancing living spaces, and all the shops will be open; restaurants, too! Click HERE for more details.

We'll see you soon!
