INDIANAPOLIS, IN (KLTV) - East Texans Kendall Wright and Lennon Creer have been invited to the 2012 NFL combine in Indianapolis.
They are two of 300 college players invited to the event.
Creer, a former Tatum Eagle, played his final year of football at Louisiana Tech, rushing for 838 yards and nine touchdowns.
Creer also scored the game winning touchdown in the East/West Shrine Game, a college showcase for seniors.
Wright, a former Pittsburg Pirate, is considered one of the best wide receivers for the upcoming NFL Draft after a monster career at Baylor.
Wright, who holds most major receiving records for the Bears, finished his senior year with 108 catches for 1,663 yards (2nd in NCAA) and 14 touchdowns.
He also earned 1st team All Big-12 honors and was a 2nd team All-American.
Wright and Creer will showcase their skills in front of hundreds of scouts from every NFL team.
The combine runs from Tuesday, Feb. 22nd to Wednesday, Feb 28th in Indianapolis.
