Lindale girls basketball continues to play without head coach

LINDALE, TX (KLTV) -

The Lindale girls basketball team won their second straight game without head coach Greg Strawn Friday Night.  In pre game the Lady Eagles wore shirts that read 'Coach Strawn.'  The team went on to stay perfect in district with a 41 to 30 win over Canton.

Strawn was removed from his coaching duties earlier this week, despite strong support from his players.  Lindale I.S.D. will not comment on the move, saying it's a personnel matter.

Coach Strawn is still a coach and teacher with Lindale ISD.
