"You don't have any trouble, all you need is faith in God"

Friday night, family and friends from all over the world came together to celebrate the life of Robert William Schambach.

A memorial service was held at the Rose Heights Church of God in Tyler.

R.W. Schambach spent more than six decades following a passion that touched thousands of people.

"It's just an overwhelming sense that God used a life to impact a nation," said Shambach's daughter, Donna Schambach.

Brother Schambach devoted his life to preaching the gospel and his famous saying, "You don't have any trouble, all you need is faith in God" resonated in the hearts of many.

"He didn't want to keep our eyes on the circumstance, but he wanted to keep our eyes looking up to the Lord because God is the only one who can help us out of every trouble and out of every circumstance," said Donna.

People came together from all over the world to celebrate the life of Brother Schambach.

"I am just overwhelmed at the people who have come to support us at this time; there are pastors from Canada, Puerto Rico, from all over the country," Donna said.

One of those pastors is from Colorado and credits Schambach for where he is today.

"Every bit of faith I have in me as a man of God, as a minister and as a person I owe it to the ministry of R.W. Schambach," said Pastor William Rodriguez who sat under Schambach's ministry from 1975 to 2000.

"He left a legacy for us and a great example to follow and if anything, I feel that weight of responsibility that you know if God can get that much out of one life then I want to be totally yielded to him too," Donna told us.

Although Brother Schambach is no longer here, his teachings will live on through those who were impacted by his love for others and his love for Christ.
