TSA gets a new ride

HOUSTON, TX (CNN) - The TSA is getting some help on horseback at a Texas airport.

A team of volunteers, including former law enforcement officers, are patrolling the areas near the runway at Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston.

The volunteers, called the airport rangers, ride around and spot any unusual activity near the planes.

They say they've had cases ranging from people firing guns too close to the runways, to even stopping someone who was trying to steal a car.
