Escaped Cass County prisoner found

CASS COUNTY, TX (KSLA) -

Cass County Sheriff's deputies found an escaped prisoner early Sunday morning. They found 36-year-old David Leroy Anderson along FM 1841 at about 1:30 a.m. He had walked up to a woman's house who recognized him and called the Sheriff's Department.

Anderson escaped from Good Shepard Hospital in Linden, TX while being treated there.

He was being held by Cass County Authorities on a probation violation for a previous burglary charge. Now, he also faces an additional charge of escape.
