UPDATE: Motorcycle wreck in Tyler leaves one man injured

UPDATE: Tyler PD Dispatch was notified of the accident at 6:25 Saturday evening in the 5000 block of Paluxy Dr.

The man is not being identified but were told he is a white male, 63 years of age. He was riding a 2006 Yamaha motorcycle.

He was riding in a group of motorcycles and was at the rear of the pack when he struck the southbound curb. He was not wearing a helmet. He has been transported to ETMC by EMS.

The accident has been cleared and traffic is now moving clearly.

A one motorcycle accident in Tyler leaves one person injured.

The motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Paluxy just south of Shiloh when he lost control and crashed.

Tyler Police and emergency crews are currently on the scene. The accident is slowing traffic on Paluxy in both the south and northbound directions.

Police tell us the mans injuries are serious, but his exact condition is unknown.
