The TJC men's and women's soccer teams landed four players on the 2011 NSCAA/Continental Tire Junior College Division I All America Teams.  On the men's side, Chris McGaughey and Samuel Hosseni received honors.  On the women's side, it was Lauren Emmerson and Chelsea Palmer.

Emmerson was also named the 2011 NSCAA Women's Junior College Division I National Player of the Year.  The sophomore from Kilwinning, Scotland, scored eight goals and had 19 assists as TJC went 24-0 in 2011. Emmerson suffered only one loss in 42 games during her two-year stint in Tyler.
